The golden silk curtain opened the first performance at the Metropolitan Opera when it moved to Lincoln Center in 1966. Since then it has seen countless staggering moments of opera history.
When the Opera House changed the curtain, we were asked to make some cufflinks out of the fabric. We first make buttons, and put them into a sterling silver double hinged cufflink with the logo on the outside of the bezel. These cufflinks are of a quality befitting the history that it represents.
You can purchase these cufflinks directly from the Metropolitan Opera.
