The family this ring was made for has a last name that appears to be Roman Numerals. You would see it and think "oh that is number 53!" Nope. There are rules....
We melted down all sorts of outdated gold jewelry and formed it into this wide and comfortable pillow domed band. A platinum bezel holds a 1.3 carat round diamond (oh boy she is a stunner). With the same gold, we made a thick gold band.
Inside both of these, we hand engraved the family name which is NOT the number 53. These rings will last generations- some person in the future might think that the engraver had made a mistake. Time will tell.
