Diamond and Sapphire, 22K Yellow Gold and Platinum

This ring looks great from every single angle. The center stone is a lovely, bright square diamond that belonged to the client's grandmother. The pear shaped sapphires came from her as well. The ring shank is made of 22 karat gold (LOVE that color!) and all of the settings are fabricated out of platinum. The diamond is as low as it could go because the wearer has active hands, and did not want anything "too sticky-uppy or scratchy". The gold has a weighted Euro shank (soft corners on the bottom) so it does not flip over on the finger. To create this out of materials not inherited would cost about $15,000. This design could be customized in a myriad of ways.
