Over the years, We have become very picky about the forms and shapes of signet rings. the transitions should be clean, pleasing, and graceful from all angles. No clunky transitions between planes and forms are allowed. The top has a very slightly concaved surface. We got this form exactly right.
The 18 karat in this ring was upcycled from outdated jewelry from a European family. What a delicious color this gold has.
The "E" in the center was engraved by a master engraver with 40 years experience. If used with a wax seal, the 'E" comes out backwards. This is intentional, as this ring will be looked at more often than used to authenticate documents. Times have changed.
