There are lots of way to texture metal. Some of them wear off, like a satin finish, sandblasting, or a hammered finish. We wanted to create a surface that refracts the light well, lasts a long time, and will look great with an age patina. This one has lots of lines of various sizes etched in it. This effect is created by hand with old-school techniques, using a saw, engraving tools, and a file. It is not regular in the spacing and is not trying to be. Made with upcycled gold which was recast in a new shape. It is sparkly without being itchy scratchy!
