Ametrine is just what it sounds like- a mix of amethyst and citrine. Think of it as a gentle watercolor wash in quartz. We put this finely cut emerald cut citrine into a textured and tapered sterling band. The ring is widest at its lowest point with chunky, curved shoulders on the base. This looks REALLY good from every angle! The texture is what we call the "sand dune effect", as it reflects light like rippling wet sand. This ametrine is super bright- the polished silver behind the stone is highly reflective to the point that it acts like a mirror- the gemstone is shown off really well.
