These bracelets were made out of Mom's gold for a pair of sisters. We pulled some rubies out of her jewelry, and bead-set them around the bangles. The original jewelry was a high karat brooch – with some sort of sea serpent with rubies all over it. It was cool looking, but no one was ever going to wear it....
