This is a many layered project for a fiftieth wedding anniversary present. It started with a piece of calligraphic art made by an artist with a personal tie to the couple. The artwork was then turned into a puzzle. In the center of the puzzle is a heart shaped piece.
This heart shaped puzzle piece was duplicated exactly in hand fabricated 18 karat yellow gold. In the center of the golden heart is a .50 carat diamond set in a tapered platinum setting. The taper makes it easier to pick the piece up out of the puzzle and to slide it onto her favorite type of jewelry- bracelets. This bracelet chain was painstakingly handmade- each link was handwrought, cut, and soldered. At the loop end of the bracelet is a quarter carat RED diamond set in high karat yellow gold. (How cool is that! A red diamond!) Little details like the fixed loop and the tag to grip onto on the clasp side makes this bracelet a cinch to take on and off.
This super custom piece can enjoyed being worn or in the center of the puzzle. No doubt that this is a special piece, extremely customized specifically for the recipient.
