While cleaning up after the I.M.A.G.I.N.E. peace now project, we had lots of extra random parts. This piece is made out of a steel gun trigger cover. The number on the bottom of the shank is the number assigned to the firearm. We bent it into a ring shape and tension-set a lab- created padparadscha sapphire into the opening. It has a gorgeous soft comfort-fit curve inside of the ring. People like the ring. When they ask about it and find out it is made from a real gun part, there is consistently an exclamation and a look of surprised wonder.
