NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S PEARLS. This strand of pearls is 44" long. Think on that as a matter of perspective when looking at this image. Each of these pearls is over a half inch in diameter. We would guess that it would take over 50,000 oysters to produce a matched strand this size. Ever matched pearls? It is far more difficult than one would guess. This strand has no clasp (why bother?) and can easily be worn either at full length or doubled up. This is a showstopper. Quite a rarity to see pearls of this quality and size in such a significant length. WOWZA.
